I've told lies that never came true
and I have stolen and so have you
theme song;; White Lie by The Lumineers
personality;;
While Illisha speaks to the gods and Zezili translates his visions into fortunes and Darcelle tucks all three under the wide expanse of his arms, Cecille does what needs to be done. He is an accomplished thief, and utilizes his smaller stature to get in close to take what he wants. He is the smallest of the brothers, smaller even than Illisha, and has deceptively soft and sensitive deep blue eyes. There's an cherubic innocence to the curves of his face that encourage strangers to trust him, and he manipulates whoever he must to bring home food or money or anything else. He has no guilt over his behavior, and his brothers have never complained of it. They understand as he does that sometimes their travels don't bring them all the money they need, and that more serious steps need to be taken. They allow Cecille to do as he needs, and thank him for it when he returns with groceries or a 'borrowed' car or saferoom for the night. He is not distrustful to Darcelle's level, and relies on his older brother to cover his back, but he knows how to read a person and he knows those few he shouldn't get involved with at all.
He is disinclined to physical fights, though he is wicked with the short knives he keeps strapped to his ankles. Like Darcelle, he has little interest in making friends, but it is less because he worries they will betray them and more because he doesn't see the point of bothering with niceties if nothing can be exchanged. People are useless to him unless they are offering him something he can use; food or shelter or medical help. Cecille has no time for frivolous people. He is soft only to his brothers, and even with them sometimes he can be a little too forceful. They understand it is how he shows his affection, so it doesn't bother them, but to an outsider he comes off as sharp spoken and rude. He often manhandles Illisha and Zezili both, when the two are wrapped up in whatever they're hearing or seeing. They are equally absentminded, and Cecille herds them along when he must. It is only when they are not paying attention that he is especially gentle, and he is the one who will braid their hair sometimes when they're zoned out.

if it's all the same to you
then it's just a little white lie
occupation;;
.. ... boop pets;; The Four Fates are accompanied constantly by a pair of white ravens. They're sisters and have been with the boys for as long as the latter can remember; Cecille in particular has very early memories of one of them sitting delicately on his chubby toddler arm. Huginn is inclined to Illisha and has a temper similar to him; Muninn is inclined to Zezili, and is similarly amicable and docile. The ravens serve largely as communication relays, as the infrequent times the Fates split up the birds fly back and forth between them. They can speak the human tongue and are intelligent. As far as the Fates are aware, the sisters are immortal as well. |
