I am tired of punching in the wind
I am tired of letting it all in
theme song;; Organs by Of Monsters and Men
personality;;
Darcelle functions as his brothers' guard and protector, and would have it no other way. Over their turbulent childhood he learned to be protective of them, when people sought to take advantage of their youth and innocence; and as they've grown he's honed his body's abilities to keep them safe. He is an accomplished fighter now, skilled in any weapon put in his hand. He utilizes his second set of arms without conscious thought, and wears clothes that allows him the freedom of movement. He always has some sort of blade on him, favors a sword that lays along the length of his spine. The infrequent times the four venture into cities Darcelle is sure to bring a gun, just in case. He is naturally inclined to distrust everybody he meets, and comes off as rather prickly to strangers, because he's obsessed with keeping his brothers safe. They are the only family he has, and he will not lose them.
He is somewhat reckless in the sense that he doesn't give a hoot about his own life, and will leap into an overbalanced battle to keep his siblings safe without concern. He is selfless only in extension of them; strangers mean nothing to him, and he must be goaded to help someone he doesn't know by one of his brothers. He doesn't really believe in second chances, and has an amazing capacity to hold grudges. Darcelle keeps a running list in his head of the people he'd kill if he got the opportunity, of folks who slighted them back when they were small and Darcelle could not properly keep them safe. He suffers from a guilty conscience when he does fail one of his brothers, despite their endless reassurances that he did the best he could. He holds himself to an almost inhuman standard, but does not do the same for any of his brothers. Although they are unsure who is technically the oldest, Darcelle imagines it is him.

and I should eat you up and spit you right out
I should not care but I don't know how
occupation;;
.. ... boop pets;; The Four Fates are accompanied constantly by a pair of white ravens. They're sisters and have been with the boys for as long as the latter can remember; Cecille in particular has very early memories of one of them sitting delicately on his chubby toddler arm. Huginn is inclined to Illisha and has a temper similar to him; Muninn is inclined to Zezili, and is similarly amicable and docile. The ravens serve largely as communication relays, as the infrequent times the Fates split up the birds fly back and forth between them. They can speak the human tongue and are intelligent. As far as the Fates are aware, the sisters are immortal as well. |
