walk on the ocean
step on the stones
theme song;; Walk On the Ocean by Toad the Wet Sprocket
personality;;
Lisskadell is the youngest god in his pantheon, and it shows. He is refreshingly innocent, gullible to near on anything he's told, and cheerfully forgiving. He has an interest in the humans that most of his family doesn't share, a newness with the mortals that has yet to wear off. While the old religion has largely died, Lisskadell remains one of the better known gods. This is perhaps due to his frequent visiting of mortals, and his careless granting of wishes. He has faded some in the last century, as has his fellow deities, but he keeps an eye on the human proceedings. He is never far from the ground, despite his wings; he favors stopping by mortal dwellings, bars and castles and whatever else. He has an adoration for the sea that cannot be easily excused, though anyone who truly knows him know what has caught his eye there. He's regularly confident but turns shy when around people he finds attractive, and gets tongue-tied easily when in the same situation. He is hopeless at flirting and will never achieve true romantic charm.
Nonetheless, Lisskadell is charming in a different sense. He has a boyish quality to him that draws mortals nearer, an innocence that convinces trust. Lisskadell is unaware of this effect, though takes advantage of it when opportunities present themselves. He is infrequently still, always has something in motion; he's got a bad habit with his wings in particular, usually flexing them as he speaks or tucking them around his shoulders or whatever else. Lisskadell is not especially difficult to read but one can always determine his true feelings simply by watching his wings. He betrays himself there with a million little ticks, mostly when he hunches them in closer and subconsciously makes himself small. He preens his feathers when he's distracted, though is always cautious about humans touching him. Still, he can be easily swayed and even more easily wooed, and can be talked into nearly anything. He has a stubborn optimism that has seen him through thick and thin and is unlikely to ever be shed.
